16th June 12-Alice Springs
Today we drove to Glen Helen Gorge in the West Macdonnell Ranges. We also saw a dingo at Ormiston waterhole. After that we went to the ochre pits use by aboriginals to paint their bodies with- for ceremonies. When we got back to the caravan park we waited on the playground for Nicole, Mark and Luke. At 5 o'clock we watched the didgeredoo player at the camp kitchen

The ochre Pits. You can see the different colour sandy rock colours that the aboriginals dug out and mixed with goanna guts to make paint |
