27.8.12 (Monday)
Today we went to the blowhole and Quobba station for a drive.  On the way there we saw hump back whales in close on the ocean.  Then we went to the Aquarium for a snorkell then Dad and I walked to the island on oyster covered rocks.  we saw an Ospreys nest while we were there
The lighthouse at Quobba.  it works flashing its warning beacon all through the night

Our camp at Qubbo blow holes.  It cost $5.50 for our family to stay here.  There's a 'ranger' and he tells you to go look for a spot.  The road goes a few kilometres with sandy bits off the side and you get your van on them.  There's no facilities here at all but really good snorkelling

The turnoff to Blowhole on the left and Quobba Station and Red Bluff (great surfing spot) to the right.  It was windy the day we arrived but protected at the snorkelling spot.

The wild Indian Ocean.  heading towards Red Bluff
Jake and Erin snorkelling at the 'Aquarium'. People feed the small fish here.  We saw about 8 different varities of fish and they are everywhere
