28.10.12 (Sunday)
Today we packed up and drove down to Victor Harbour. We saw penguins on Granite Island at the discovery centre there, then we kept driving until we got to Frank Potter Reserve (1km East of Langhorn Creek).

View from Granite Island looking back at Victor Harbour. We walked across the jetty but you can catch a tram towed by a horse |
Granite Island. There are seal colonies, and fairy penguins that swim around this area |
The rock on this island is granite therefor doesn't erode the way limestone (sandstone) does. |
fairy penguins. Their fury coat turns a shade of blue which helps them blend in with the ocean waters. They feed in the day in the ocean waters then at night they come to shore and sleep in burrows
