22nd July 12-West of Fitzroy Crossing Today its my 10th birthday. We drove to Tunnel creek and Winkjana gorge. we came very close to some freshys on the bank. we set up camp at a free camp with a giant Boab Tree.
This is Tunnell Creek.  You have to wear a head lamp and you can walk 1km into a tunnell.  You have to walk through some water and sandy banks and their can be big pythons and fresh water crocodiles and bats in here
Jake pretending to be a ghost
Its hard to see but right near us and along the sandy bank edge are lots of fresh water crocodiles sunbaking.  Generally if there are lots of freshys then they're probably aren't any salt water crocs around to annoy them
The walk at Winjana gorge
You can see the different colours in the rock.  The white layer is the normal wet season water level as there is a lot of rain up here in summer and the sand particles wash against the rock in the currant and scrape the colouring to white.

This is a massive Boab tree.  Boab trees have a thick trunk, I think it stores water in its trunk.  They are found in the Kimberleys round Fitzroy Crossing area mainly
