This morning we went for a ride and the magpies were after us.  Then we kept driving to Cape Jaffa, Robe, Beachport and Millicent.  we stayed at a free camp at Tantanoola opposite the Tiger Hotel.

Robe.  This beacon was originally painted all white but the sailors said it blended with the sandstone cliffs so they painted the red stripes.  It can be seen up to 20km offshore on a clear day

This is the ruins of an old Gaol at Robe.  The photo shows the size of 3 cells on the right with the door at the front.

This lake has a salt content 7 times that of the ocean so you float nin it very easily. Dad and erin are floating and I'm about to jump in.  Was a windy day, once you were in you didn't want to get out.

This is our free camp at Tantanoola.  This is the old railway station, the line is no longer used
